About me

Adrián Pérez Orozco
Name: Adrián Pérez Orozco
Hometown: Madrid, Spain
Birthday: 28th September
Occupation: Telecommunications Engineering Student in the ETSIT UPM

Hi there! My name is Adrián, I’m a guy from Madrid (Spain) who studies Telecommunications Engineering in the Politechnical University of Madrid.

Among my hobbies, I like programming, mainly web programming, for what this website is helping me a lot when it comes to learn and practice the new things I learn.

I like music a lot, mainly rock and metal music (but the truth is that lately I listen almost to everyting). Some of my favourite groups are Rammstein, Slipknot and Disturbed, but I also like other softer things like Muse, or even Rihanna :P. I’m also a failed attempt of guitar player, thing I quitted because of lack of time and patience, and which I intend to retake soon.

I also love videogames. Lately I don’t have much time, and as today’s games are hard to copy, I don’t have many games either. Nevertheless, I couldn’t live without Silent Hill or without Devil May Cry, my two favourites. I’m also a fan of fight games like Tekken or Soul Calibur, and of the old school skate games like Tony Hawk’s (new ones are crap).

One of the things I love most, and in which I spend a lot of time and money lately, is travelling. I’m a member of EESTEC, an students’ association thanks to which I’ve been able to meet a lot of people from all over Europe, make a couple of trips around Spain each year, and which gives me the possibility of travelling abroad without having to pay very much. Meeting people and making friends abroad is one of the most gratifying and edifying things for me. I also like a lot learning languages. I know words in many of them, but the only one I can really speak is English, and also to understand French.

About sports, the truth is that I don’t practice any of them really often. I love Taekwondo, but I have to quit it by a major health reason; basketball, and wintersports (but the only one I know a bit of is Skiing, and usually I never have chances to practice it)

And well… I think that’s more than enough. Kind regards to everyone and I hope you like the website :)
